A Word from Our Founder/CEO
We believe that providing young people with the skills they need to embark on their careers is one of the most important contributions we can make toward securing a healthy future for our common world.
Today, graduates of all levels are at an increasing disadvantage with regard to ensuring their place in the job market. Lack of employment, or being overqualified for work they are able to find, is a very real scenario for an overwhelming number of them.
Recent graduates all too frequently find themselves unemployable or else over-qualified for the jobs that are available. However, this is often attributable to not knowing where to look for the right job fit. Shockingly, 80 to 85% of job openings are not even listed.
The “Landing Your 1st Full-time Job” program is a series of trainings that lay out clearly and practically the concrete professional soft skills recent graduates require. The trainings are rich with professional advice, assessment, and activities as well as hands-on practice and role-playing so that when the job search begins, the people skills, confidence, and know-how are ready for action.
